You're the Expert. Stop Sounding Like a Stranger on Camera.

Camera Confidence with Girish Menon is a private, one-on-one mentorship program that trains real experts to show up on video with the same confidence they have in their actual work. No acting, no gimmicks, no $10K equipment.

You're Not the Problem.

You know your subject better than almost anyone. But the moment a camera turns on, that confidence disappears. You stumble over words you'd never fumble in person. You record the same ten seconds five, six, seven times, and it still doesn't sound like you. Some people post one shaky video, feel embarrassed watching it back, and quietly give up. Others never even get that far, the video sits unfinished, unposted, stuck on a phone somewhere.Either way, the cost is the same: while you stay quiet, someone with far less knowledge than you keeps posting, keeps showing up, and slowly becomes the "expert" people trust instead of you. It's not because you're bad at this. It's because nobody ever sat down and showed you how a camera actually works, how to set it up, light it, and speak to it like yourself. Once someone does, it clicks fast.

What You'll Learn

  • Sound like yourself, on camera. Ditch the stiff, scripted delivery that makes experts look fake.

  • Write scripts that sell without selling. Say what you do in a way people actually act on.

  • Say more in less time. Communicate complex ideas so they land in seconds.

  • Shoot pro-looking video on gear you already own. Phone, compact, or action camera, dialled in on frame rate, exposure, and dimensions.

  • Light any room for free. Natural light techniques that make footage look expensive.

  • Upgrade your setup for under $100. The exact LEDs and mics that outperform expensive gear.

  • Never guess at gear again. The tripods, mounts, and accessories worth owning, and the ones to skip.

  • Stay compliant while you post. The privacy and disclosure rules specific to your field, so one video doesn't become a liability.

What You'll Walk Away With

  • Real, ready-to-post videos, recorded during your one-on-one sessions, not just theory

  • The confidence to hit record without overthinking every take

  • A complete on-camera setup that fits your budget, from your phone to lights, mic, and mounts

  • A repeatable process for turning any expertise into short, engaging video content

  • Direct, personal feedback from Girish on your own footage, not generic tips

  • A 30-day content plan so you know exactly what to shoot next

How It Works

Four private, one-on-one sessions, 90 minutes each, spread over two to three weeks:1. Presence, voice, and script. Finding your natural delivery and writing the script you'll actually record.
2. Camera, gear, and lighting. Setting up your space, your camera, and your lighting the right way, on your budget.
3. Live recording. Recording your real content together, with feedback in the moment, not after.
4. Review and content plan. Refining what you shot and leaving with a clear plan for your next 30 days.
Every session is just you and Girish. No group calls, no cohorts, no waiting for feedback that never comes.

Meet Girish Menon

Girish Menon has spent over 20 years behind the camera and in front of a classroom, working as a photography expert, educator, and public speaker. He learned the craft of public speaking at just 16, trained personally by the late Fr. Frankie Menezes, a celebrated Redemptorist priest from Mumbai renowned for his commanding voice and dynamic preaching style, who blended traditional homiletic technique with modern corporate training methods. That early foundation still shapes how Girish teaches communication today. He has led photography workshops across India, with notable engagements at institutions in Mumbai including IIT Bombay, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Sophia College for Women, and the American School of Bombay, as well as organizations like ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and NABARD. He has also served as visiting faculty at SNDT Women's University.Girish moved online early, running remote workshops as far back as 2014, and has since taught students across the United States, England, New Zealand, and India. That experience deepened his passion for breaking down complex technical subjects into video lessons anyone can follow. He has tested cameras, microphones, lights, and filming accessories across every price range, so he can tell you exactly what's worth buying at your budget and what isn't. His teaching style stays simple: clear explanations, personal feedback, and progress you can see fast. No jargon, no technical overload, just practical skills that work.
